Cartoon Network BLE
Project For Brand Licensing Europe (BLE), one of Europe’s leading licensing trade shows, I designed the Cartoon Network exhibition stand to translate the brand’s playful, character-driven identity into a clear and engaging spatial environment. The stand was conceived to be instantly recognisable on a busy show floor while providing a flexible platform to showcase Cartoon Network’s portfolio of characters and licensed properties.
Challenge The challenge was to balance strong visual impact with practical exhibition requirements. In a dense trade-show environment, the stand needed to attract attention from a distance while remaining modular, efficient to build, and adaptable to the constraints of the venue. The design also needed to support circulation and conversation, allowing visitors to engage with the brand without visual overload.
My Role I led the spatial concept, 3D design, engineering, and fabrication of the stand, as well as the creation of all print artworks. Working with a modular system of CNC-cut cubes, I developed a structure that could be quickly assembled on site and reconfigured as needed. Integrated LED screens within selected cubes introduced motion and animation, reinforcing the energy of the Cartoon Network brand across the environment.
Results & Impact The final stand delivered a bold yet functional presence at BLE, clearly communicating CN dentity while meeting the logistical demands of a major trade show. By combining modular architecture and graphic storytelling, the project demonstrates how exhibition design can unite brand expression, adaptability, and production efficiency within a single, coherent system.
