IO Village @ Rare Evo Las Vegas 2025
Project For Rare Evo 2025 in Las Vegas, I designed the IO Village, a large-scale experiential environment that served as a central hub for Input Output, Shielded, and Midnight Foundation within one of the most important gatherings in the Web3 calendar. Conceived as a 20×60ft spatial platform, the village brought together product showcases, talks, live content, and community interaction under one cohesive architectural and visual system.
Challenge The challenge was to design a space capable of hosting a high density of activity while remaining clear, legible, and engaging. The IO Village needed to support multiple programmes simultaneously — speaker sessions, podcasts, live-streamed content, demos, and social interaction — while communicating a complex ecosystem spanning privacy, scalability, interoperability, and governance. The design had to cut through a busy exhibition environment and sustain attention over long dwell times.
My Role I led the spatial concept, 3D design, and full visual artwork for the IO Village, shaping both its architectural structure and graphic identity. The design organised the space into clearly defined zones, including a Speaker’s Corner, Podcast Studio, product activation areas, and interactive installations such as the Hydra-powered vending machine and arcade experiences. Over 10 products were showcased within the village, with the design enabling seamless transitions between demos, discussions, and live programming while maintaining a unified visual language.
Results & Impact The IO Village became one of the most visited and recognisable destinations at Rare Evo 2025, welcoming nearly 1,800 visitors with an average dwell time exceeding 11 minutes and winning Best Booth Award. The space supported dozens of live sessions, podcasts, and workshops, and significantly increased IO’s share of voice year-on-year. The project demonstrated how integrated experiential and spatial design can translate complex, decentralised technologies into an accessible, engaging, and community-driven physical environment.
